The veteran Swedish coach, Zevin Goran Eriksson, who has led several clubs and international teams, sees the Moroccan team as having a good group of players, noting that it remains one of the best African teams in the current period.
"I hope that the Moroccan team will qualify for the second round of the World Cup, although the task will not be easy, because the teams that qualify for the World Cup are always strong," Eriksson said while attending the March March ceremony organized by Radio Mars to select the best athletes.
The Swedish coach completed his remarks that the group that exists in Morocco remains difficult, with the presence of Spain, Portugal and Iran.
"Morocco have strong and tough teams, but everything is possible, and the Moroccan team can qualify for the second round."
"I hope that Morocco will meet Sweden in the final of the World Cup."
Eriksson is named the best Moroccan coach award for Jamal Salami, who won the African Cup of Nations for the locals.
Eriksson has led several teams, including England, Mexico and Côte d'Ivoire, as well as some major clubs in Europe such as Lazio, Benfica, Manchester City and Rome.
No African team can win the World Cup. We're just not at that level for now.
