Dark clouds... golden skies...

Gloomy or not, this is always a great combination!

The contrasts are stunning... makes for great dramatic scenes, more so when you get cloud formations that add to the drama...

Holes in clouds allow sun beams to shoot highlights onto other clouds like a screen capturing the projections of a movie
Dark clouds are likened to villains encroaching, creeping up upon the golden scene, menacing... threatening...

Ten minutes on... and the dark villains have re-grouped...
Creating rolls now... not rolling in but spear-heading an 'attack' onto the golden centre
The golden centre now even has a red-orange warm glow emanating from beyond the horizon
But we all know how this will end...
Alas... darkness always wins the moment of sundown...
Until the sun returns in the morn... and reclaims the skies!
