RE: Dawn to Sunrise - 5 August 2018 (Original Video/Photos)

@etcmike one of the things that I love the most is watching the sunset, relaxing me, making me connect with myself and above all things fills me with melancholy and peace. Your photographs are beautiful, I must congratulate you. I can't imagine what your thinking when you take them. What did you feel? ... A hug.

An interesting thought... "What do I feel while I am watching the sunrise unfold in front of me?"

Every morning is not the same. Sometimes I know it is going to be a spectacular sunrise and sometimes I do not know what to expect.

Most of the time I am focused on the camera settings, checking for birds in the air, and trying to avoid taking pictures of bugs landing in front of my lens.

But the moments in between are precious. The beauty of a sunrise only last for a little bit. At times it unfolds slowly and sometimes it changes every second.

When I am thinking about how majestic the scene is, I sometimes wonder how many other people are seeing it.

Watching a sunrise or sunset is a 4-d experience. It changes in all dimensions. A person watching from one vantage point will not see exactly the same scene another person sees at another vantage point. That makes it a very personal experience for each observer.

I usually thank God for waking me up to see the beauty of his creation unfolding in front of me. Each sunrise and sunset is a free gift of beautiful art to the world.

Thanks for making me think about it.

Have a great week!
Steem on,
Mike

@etcmike Jusy like you, when I observed a beautiful sunrise or a beautiful sunset or a starry night, I think of how small I am in this universe full of wonders and I also thank God for letting me see it. Certainly for each one it is a different experience and it will make us immerse ourselves in our feelings and thoughts. Thank you for sharing such beautiful photographs. You had a beautiful artist that day drawing for you in the sky. Happy week!
