Millions of train routes across the globe, but there are some of them that invite horror because of its location.
For example, there is a railway line towering above the bridge between deep ravines. Meanwhile the other lane curved sharply next to a steep cliff. Both can make the hearts of passengers pounding.
On the other hand, these locations provide beautiful scenery. For the adventurers, the feeling of pounding through such a trajectory is sought after.
The path can be found in a number of places in the world, including Asia. Summarized from Wonderslist.com on Saturday (09/30/2017), following a number of dangerous trails with beautiful scenery in Asia:
Argo Gede Train Track, Indonesia
Argo Gede railroad track connects Jakarta and Bandung. The track includes a bridge that hangs in altitude at Cikurutug, Purwakarta area. Scenes down is quite frightening. Although the valley beneath it is very deep, the passengers will be treated to beautiful scenery. The bridge is not fenced so it is quite dangerous. However, engineers do not want to exaggerate it.Bamboo Train, Cambodia.
The train route in Cambodia was built by the French who in former times colonized the Indochina region. But, many train tracks were destroyed by the Khmer Rouge regime. Local residents also use bamboo routes. The route was earned a nickname because of the use of handmade trains made of bamboo and pedaled along the track. Although it is only used domestically, it is very dangerous. But, currently this bamboo carriage has been strengthened and used as a tourist attraction.Rel Maut, Thailand.
Ever heard or watched the iconic war movie titled "Bridge on the River Kwai"?
Well, this train track that crossed the bridge as it is in the famous movie. The track called the Death Rail is located in Kanchanburi province on the Thai border with Myanmar. At the time of World War II, on the track that hundreds of British and American war prisoners died due to forced rail construction by the Japanese. Despite its grim history, the train trajectory presents a beautiful view of the lush forest.
it gives nice scene for passenger and at the same time some scary scenes for other places across the route. I am more of a tourist person. I love visiting interesting places of nature. I have never traveled by train before, but will be looking upto that. If i would travel by train, i will like it to be electric train due to it speed and not coal train in which most exist in Africa that are fuelled by steam engines and uses coal to power it @originalworks
