Koksi beetle is one of the small animal members of the order Coleoptera. They are easily recognizable because of his small round and her colorful as well as on some kind of mottled. In Western countries, it is known by the name ladybird or ladybug. Laymen call beetle koksi as ladybugs, because of its size and its shields are also hard, but this is absolutely not the beetles of the ladybugs (Hemiptera). The insect is known as a friend of farmers because some of its members prey on pest insects like aphids. However, there are some species also eat leaves koksi so be plant pests.

These beetles are found throughout the world, especially in the region-the region-place live plants that provide food. In this world more or less there are about 5,000 species and the largest of the length of its body reached nearly 1 cm.

Koksi Beetle anatomy has a fairly typical appearance so easily distinguished from other insects. His body is shaped almost round with a pair of wings on her back hard. Hard wing on his back, colorful, flashy colored but generally coupled with pattern like totol-totol. The wings of a colorful hard it is actually its front wings or wing elitra. Transparent and colored the back wings are usually folded under the front wing if not used. Koksi beetles have short legs and a head that looks bent down. The position of the head such as these help him eat small animals like aphids. At his feet lies the fine hairs for microscopic-sized (can only be seen with a microscope) that ends like a spoon. This produces hair oily materials are sticky so that the ladybugs can walk and sticking in places difficult as in the glass or in the ceiling.

Koksi beetles do marriage in order to breed. Sometimes there are 2 koksi Beetle that has a different colour schemes, but still could do marriage and reproduce normally because it still comes from the same species.
