It has definitely been a cold month here in Paris. Here are some pics of the French capital with a lot of snow.
Ok, only 15 cm but it’s a record for us. 😊 If you have to choose one parc to visit in Paris it has to be the Buttes Chaumont! It is absolutely magical in the heart of Paris : important height differences and big slops. And finally when the snow comes, the Buttes Chaumont is transformed to mountains. Here is an occasion to show the frozen Buttes Chaumont as it happens only every 10 years.
Thank you for taking the time to watch my issue about the snow in Paris. This was a brief sum up of this february month here in Paris. Tell me which picture inspires you the most.
Let's wait now for spring and for new colors and new kind of scenery.
Welcome to the the magical land of Narnia! Where's the Snow Queen?
I'd have to say my favorite shot is the one with the red guy skiing down the "slope"... mainly because I love this park (which is right in the middle of Paris!) and find it insane that this much snow allowed anyone to ski there :)
Next time this happens, let me know, I'll come back for snowball fights.
well actually it happenend again last night :):)
Yeah same here. 😜
Beautiful pics @airjam, I love snow shots, and I believe the snow is heading from Paris in my direction :). I was trying to pick a favourite but found it difficult. At a push I would probably say it's your fourth shot of the couple by the pond, just because of the high angle view. It seems like Paris is beautiful anytime of the year.
I'm just after asking my wife if she wanted to see some snow shots of Paris, and she replied "Oh! Have you some flights booked!" :). Thank you.
Thank you @anmeitheal ! :) Paris indeed is beautiful... without the pollution (and there is quite a lot of pollution when it's cold) :P
There are some hidden places far from touristic stuff which are really beautiful and must see ! :)
Hi @airjam... I’m in Berlin now but just super cold... without snow like there! I love every photo u posted... I feel people in photos make these photos bigger landscape... I’m sure just hold camera didn’t so easy in low temperature... I’m sure just hold camera didn’t so easy in low temperature... great work!
