Few days ago I had to be in the city early in the morning so I brought my camera with me and managed to take a few captures while on the break. It was the first time I got to see the sunrise in Belgrade downtown and learn how it spreads through the streets so early.
It renders such beautiful colors of orange and blue as you can see, especially with the snow still on the ground. Although, it was quite cold and challenging to stay outside for extended period of time. I'll definitely have to explore the city more during this time of day as there is so much undiscovered potential for new, interesting compositions. Photos taken with Fuji X-Pro2.
Love your photos. I have wanted to get into street photography. How do you go taking photos of people and getting their approval? How do you approach them?
Thanks! I never ask for approval or ask subjects to pose for me. That's more a street portrait genre. I prefer to do it like this to capture the spontaneity of street life. Basically you have to master looking more like a tourist not interested in a particular subject, while having the clear moment and composition in mind. It's a skill you learn with practice.
Since childhood I was eager to set foot in the snow, and when I grew up I realized I'm a country kid living in the tropics :) Nice shot @alcibiades
Thanks! I hope you get a chance to experience it sometimes. It doesn't always feel great, but can be visually beautiful. :)
Yes, hopefully :)

Hola.
Me encantaron estas fotos. Pero sobre todo ...
La primera, la chica con los ojos cerrados.
La sexta, la chica de perfil en el tren.
Porque reflejan la vida en un momento.
Gracias por compartir.
Muchas gracias!
