Today the sea is stormy. The wind chases waves and ragged clouds to the shore. The horizon breaks through the sun's rays. The stormy state of nature, perfectly suited for shooting at long exposures. I went down to the sea on a dark tunnel cut in the shell. The rocky coast is deserted and no one will interfere with my solitude. Alone, it is always easier to feel the energy of the place and transfer its state through photography.
Here are very interesting rocks, entirely consisting of bottom sediments. To think, the sea was tens of meters higher. A responsive imagination immediately draws a storm surface high above the head and floating next to the cliffs of fish. The level of the Black Sea is generally stable, there are no tides 5 meters high in the Sea of Okhotsk. Although, such tides could provide additional opportunities for creativity.
Gloomy clouds sweep across the sky so low that it seems as if they will touch the top of the rock above me with their heavy belly. Enlightenments in the clouds have drawn in the picture the strokes similar to the rays of light that not so long ago shone on the horizon. The surface of the seething sea looked like a cloud blanket, through which the mountain peaks cut through. Perhaps, in the world of stones, this is how the whole mobile life looks like, something vague, fleeting. Compared with stones, we live very little, often wasting our lives for nothing, and this is, indeed, a moment in eternity.
A fisherman's ship, accompanied by my contemplation-Comet Halley, followed by a gull-headed gull was passing by. A lonely wanderer between the worlds, but like all of us.
Wow amazing view :)
Nice effects on the first 2 pics. Were you using neutral density filters or were there a series of pictures stacked in post process?
Yes, when shooting the first three photos I used a neutral gray filter (ND1000).
Good to know. I’m on the market for a set of neutral density filters. Been doing my research on them for over three weeks!! What do you recommend as far as Brands to choose?
buttin in to say i really like Formatt HiTech!
I do not have as many filters to give advice on brand, but from what I used to call it. I shoot with a filter Hoya ND1000, this is a good filter with a constant density, in my opinion an excellent solution for shooting at long exposures during the daytime. I tried to shoot with a variable filter, but he gave a cross-like pattern and did not go to my camera.
They look like paintings! nature is beautiful. 😍
awesome art.
congratulations for your publication I loved it thanks for sharing :)
Thank you! I'm glad that you liked my work ☺️
Great photos. The Black Sea is legendary. It looks like you may have used long exposure photography to get some of the water and cloud blur. Great job especially the clarity.
As a surfer this is super eerie too look at... I bet you there are some sharks lurking around those waters... *following for more content like this!
excellent pictures!

Lovely pictures. Really captured the essence of the sea quite beautifully. Keep up the good work. :)
Truly lovely images, still and full of motion at the same time. I am just beginning to look at photo art here on steemit, so don't know if the blending of photography and writing as you have done here is common, but I like it. Excellent work. Thanks for posting.
Looks beautiful
