#874 - Monochrome Shots for Sunday.

Greetings to you all my Hivean friends on this lovely Sunday evening! I hope this day has brought you joy, relaxation and a sense of accomplishment. As the first light of dawn crept over the horizon early today, my wife and I embarked on a leisurely stroll through the University of the Philippines in Diliman campus. The morning air was crisp and refreshing, carrying the scent of dew-kissed grass and the distant hum of the city awakening. We wandered along the oval path, taking in the majestic trees that stood sentinel over the campus, where there's also a fun run event that occured. Now as the sun sets and the stars start to twinkle, I want to express my gratitude for being part of such a vibrant and supportive community. Every day on Hive feels like a new adventure. Let's take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this online world we've built together and look forward to the exciting days ahead. Cheers to another fantastic week on Hive! 🥳👋

Now for our daily shots this time in monochrome. Here's a young woman strolled past the nondescript building, she couldn't help but notice a small passage that seemed to stretch out before her beside the building. Ahead of her she saw an older woman hunched over, diligently repairing torn shoes on the chilly pavement. The woman's nimble fingers moved deftly over the worn soles and mending them with a threadbare needle and a frayed thread, she does this for a living, a tough time but decent way to feed the family.

Then, in the heart of the bustling city, a narrow alleyway stood as a testament to the vibrant energy of the urban landscape. Measuring just wide enough to accommodate a large jeepney, this small passageway served as a makeshift terminal and waiting area for eager passengers, also a pass though for pedestrians. As the clock ticked away, people from all walks of life streamed through the alley, each with their own stories and destinations.

Here's two women each with an ecobags in hand, walk ahead a bustling jeepney terminal. The terminal is filled with old battle tested jeepneys with their vibrant paint jobs and ornate decorations standing out against the background of the busy street(to follow in colored version though 😉). As they continue on their way, the sounds of honking horns and lively chatter fill the air. The scene is a vibrant tableau of Philippine culture, with the jeepneys serving as a symbol of local transportation.

Lastly is a sea of people stretches along the roadside, a diverse crowd united in their shared purpose of waiting or walking 😅. Some lean against the wall, others chat animatedly with friends and acquaintances, while a few sit on the ground, content to observe the world go by. Amidst the still crowd, a few individuals move with purpose, weaving through the throng as they hurry to reach their destinations. Despite the crush of humanity, there is a sense of calm and acceptance, as if everyone understands that this is simply part of the rhythm of life. The scene is a mix of patience, community, and the quiet determination to keep moving forward. More to follow😉.
