On this Wednesday I send peaceful greetings to all of you dearest Hiveans! May the day bring calmness and tranquility to your hearts and minds. As the sun rises, may its light illuminate your path with serenity and understanding. As you go about your day, may your steps be guided by kindness, compassion and love for one another. May the warmth of this Wednesday envelop you in a soothing embrace, filling your spirit with peace and harmony. Let us all take a deep breath and bask in the tranquility of this lovely Wednesday and may it be a day of peace for all wherever you are.

Now for our monochrome shots of the day, here's a motorcycle rider sat patiently on his bike while clad in a waterproof raincoat with his eyes fixed on the heavy traffic ahead. The rain pelted down in relentless pours drumming a steady rhythm on his helmet and coat. The air was thick with the smell of wet asphalt and exhaust fumes. As the minutes ticked by, he adjusted his position trying to find comfort in the damp and chilly atmosphere. His motorcycle stood steadfastly as he rodes it awaiting the chance to break free from the gridlock and carve through the rain-soaked streets.

Two police officers sprinted down the otherwise empty pedestrian lane along with another pedestrian. The sound of their boots echoing off the hard asphalt pavement contrasted sharply with the silence that usually filled the busy road. With urgency in their strides with their eyes scanning the surroundings with a practiced intensity like they did in training. Despite the absence of vehicles they maintained their pace as if the emptiness was merely a temporary reprieve from the chaos they were accustomed to in the city of pines.

Then here's the rain came down in torrents and drenching the crowd gathered and passing by near the jeepney terminal. Umbrellas sprouted like mushrooms with each one a different shade, as people sought shelter from the deluge. The needle like droplets pounded against the fabrics of the umbrellas creating a rhythmic drumbeat that drowned out the usual cacophony of honking jeepneys and chattering vendors. The air was thick with the smell of wet earth and rain-soaked concrete, mingling with the scent of damp fabric and the distant aroma of street foods nearby.

Lastly are these two men who were both huddled beneath their umbrellas and walked with their bags clutched tightly to their chests. The rain poured down in torrents and creating a veil of water that obscured their faces as they peered out from under the protective canopy of their umbrellas. Their eyes were shielded from the downpour, scanning the surroundings for the shelter ahead which is an overpass.
