#912 - Monochrome Street Shots for Sunday.

And now for our daily shots this time in monochrome, here is Session Road in Baguio City with a crosswalk that connects the busy street to the historic Baguio Cathedral. The crosswalk marked by bold white stripes, guides pedestrians safely across the road amidst the flow of four wheeled vehicles. As people step onto the crosswalk, they are surrounded by the sights and sounds of the city: mostly taxis passing by, vendors calling out to passersby and the hum of conversation from locals and tourists alike.
A sea of people wherein majority were holding umbrellas, braved the rain as they climbed the overpass. The monochrome canopies formed a black and white mosaic, shielding individuals from the rain downpour. Some shared their umbrellas with companions or love ones, huddling together for added protection. The sound of raindrops pattering on the umbrella fabric filled the air as the crowd moved in unison. Together, they navigated the wet terrain wherein the scene was one of harmony and collective perseverance.
And here's a lone man walked along the road one early morning with a plastic bag carried by his left hand. Vehicles travelled fast by on his right while on his left were busy people rushed to start their day. The man walked steadily while not minding to the hustle and bustle around him. The sounds of honking horns, chatter and revving engines filled the air as he continued on his way.
Lastly on Session Road, a young lady caught the attention of passersby with her creative cosplay. She was dressed as Pocahontas, she embodied the spirit of the Disney princess with her long hair. What made her stand out even more was her bare feet which added a touch of authenticity to her costume. In front of her was a tip box encouraging onlookers to show their appreciation for her performance. As she posed for photos and interacted with the crowd, her gaze wandered across the road to a large Pikachu cosplayer. She seemed to be enjoying the lively atmosphere on Session Road, where creativity and self-expression knew no bounds. As people stopped to take photos with her and drop tips into her box, she smiled warmly and grateful for the opportunity to share her passion for cosplay with others.
