#931 - Colorful Scenes in the Streets for Thursday.
Happy Friday to all us Hiveans worldwide! May this day bring us vitality, energy and a sense of accomplishment. Wishing us a healthy and balanced day filled with nutritious food, refreshing exercise and quality time with loved ones. May your mind be clear, your body be strong and your spirit be lifted. Now for our daily shots in colors, here's rain poured down on the Baguio market area road. Cars and taxis were bumper to bumper with their taillights reflecting off the wet pavement. The traffic crawled with vehicles packed tightly together. The rain-soaked road was a sea of brake lights and slow moving traffic which is a typical Baguio rainy day scene.
Here's another rain poured down on the Baguio Igorot garden park. A man used his denim jacket as a makeshift umbrella covering his head. Another man walked quickly holding a plastic bag. Two women walked in the opposite of their direction with their colorful umbrellas open providing a pop of color against the grey sky. These four individuals navigated through the concrete park finding ways to brave the rain.
Then here's a sea of people walked up and down the Baguio Cathedral's 100-plus steps, each with their own pace. Going up was a challenge with some stopping to catch their breath or taking breaks to admire the city views. In comparison, walking down was easier with people strolling leisurely or chatting with friends. The stairs were a hub of people activity with locals and tourists exercising, socializing or taking in the sights.
Lastly is a gloomy afternoon outside the building's windows where a mother and son waited for the rain to pass. Nearby is a gentleman lean on the wall quietly also waiting for the storm to clear. The mother and son chatted softly while the gentleman was lost in thought.
