in #photography5 days ago

Today I invite you along the shores of lake Geneva with his beautiful alpine scenery as well as the promenade with Freddie Mercury statue. Fredy Mercury , the lead singer of Queen had a strong conection with Montreeux, a deep history and relationship. After his diagnosis was confirmed, and his need for peace and quiet intensified, he had the decision to move in Montreux, the band followed him there. They found a place to set up a studio and recorded seven albums in this city, including their last masterpiece Made in Heaven. Mercury did not live permanently in Montreux, his longest stays was between 1980 and early 1990. He said: “If you want peace and quiet, come to Montreux!”.

The first statue with the hand upwards has a classic musical feel to it, like one of those Michael Jackson's dance moves. Nice atmosphere too!

Welcome, many thanks!
