Did you know that Tromso is not only known for the Northern Lights, a natural work of art, it was also the capital of Norway for a short time in May 1940, when Oslo and the southern parts of Norway was occupied.

Tromso is located about 350 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle and is one of the best places to see and wonder the Aurora Borealis - the Northern Lights, they appear almost daily in this region, especially during the dark winter months between September and April.
