Well-being for the cows

in #photography6 days ago

The past of the cow in Switzerland goes back to the Middle Ages. At that time, the animals were particularly indispensable in the mountain regions. The mountain farmers used their milk to make cheese and butter. Today you can find a farm in every region where you can buy local farm products such as milk, eggs, vegetables, fruit and meat.

In the traditional milk production process, calves are separated from their mothers immediately after birth in such a way that more milk can be obtained for human food.

Those are very big cows. Would love to see how cheese was made from cow milk. I think people should treat cows with more compassion.
