Hawaii is considered the rainbow state because there are so many rainbows. We often see double and sometimes even tripple rainbows over our home. So you see one rainbow band and another and another.... the rainbow represents all the colors together in beautiful harmony, a symbol for the world to fallow. thanks for the excellent question.
