Good morning steemit. Today no green smoothie as I am already back on my way to Phnom Penh where my 15-year-old kitty cat, Chivas, will have a major surgery today. After 2 weeks worrying and going from one vet to another, I am so glad to have found agrovet. They are not cheap, and the surgery will cost a few hundreds of dollars, but I am so happy that they finally gave me a straight answer and possible cause + solution.
When I brought her in yesterday they took an x-ray and could immediately see that something is really wrong inside her intestines and she had to stay in the hospital for the night. As I am writing now she is going into surgery. The x-ray couldn't tell if the obstruction is caused by a foreign object or cancer. Let's hope it's not the latter...
Hopefully, I will be able to take her home tonight! If not I'll stay in the capital so that at least I can go and visit as soon as she wakes up so she sees a familiar face.
Send us your love we need it.... as this comes at the worst time ever - my parents arrive in Cambodia tomorrow for a holiday! And I want to give them a good time but I will have to be there for my little kitty cat too.

Thanks gorgeous. they had to remove a tumor... we are back home but it will still be a long healing process. But she is surrounded by people who give her lots of healing cuddles and love ღ ღ ღ)

A tumor has been removed and send to Europe for analysis. She is home and we are giving her lots of love and caring for her the best as possible. Let's hope for a speedy recovery! Thanks for the support. Much appreciated. She is part of our family so it has been a few scary days!

Me too... wound is healing but she isn't eating too much and lost a lot of weight! We are giving her the best care. If things not improve we'll have to go back to the capital... she is being such a good kitty. Thanks for the love and support!

Thanks for all the love. Much appreciated. The wound is healing nicely but she isn't eating much. If the condition doesn't improve in the coming days I fear we have to go back to the vet clinic. Let cross fingers.

Not easy when your furry friends are sick. Cancer is a horrible disease. Hope we can have her just a little longer. Most days are good, some are bad! But she is still happy and in no pain!
Yeah that really sucks. My cat had that too but enjoyed the time when he was around.
