This little guy has been living in our papaya tree in front of the kitchen window for ages. Gonna miss this funny creature so much when we move down to the coast. But there is no point in taking him with us.

Nonetheless, I feel very blessed to know this little guy. Finally, after one year sneaking up on him, he allowed me to come past his usual comfort zone... You can imagine the effort I put in and how many times I tried. He is right next to me when I'm cooking. If you have been following my blog then you probably know how much time I spend in the kitchen hehe.

Hmm.. just realized... maybe I just improved my sneaking skills or he just realized that we are animal lovers...

Though I do not know its species or official name, Cambodians call them little dragons. They could use some little wings indeed. You should see them running through the garden. Almost as if they are going to take off. They are so quick... one more month to try and get them on camera...

this is so cute

Hehe... I know. Gonna miss him when we move.

very good pics

He looks like a cartoon character! It's amazing how almost all animals have the ability to develop trust in us over time, easier with 'social' animals, but you've proven it with a lizard! Good job on the first photo. It's stunning!

Thanks! All critters welcome in our garden... can take a while before they trust you... but eventually, they feel we are nice to them and are just interested. Nature always amazes me ;) Have a great day!

The first photo melts my heart. What a cute little creature!

Really gonna miss him.. he is so much fun around the house.

Hahaha! Here in Mauritius we have many little dragons, ohhh, if i see him i can stop cooking an run away, or i close the window, hhhh i get scared about him.

Lol... nothing to be scared of. They are so lovely and more scared of you ;)

Oh he looks cute... Thanks for sharing :)

Blessing of a tropical garden. To you get to see many critters where you live?
