A self portrait exploration of the stages of creation.

These are a series of self portraits I made to show what a person goes through in the process of creation.
Like ever thing in life the process of creation also has a slightly darker side to it.

First we become fully engrossed with an idea to an extent that we get entangled in it.

Then eventually we get burnt-out ; either by dwelling on it or just by the pressure of executing it.

Finally when the moment comment and the "idea actually comes to realization and in that moment we feel a certain connection to it, sort of a symbiosis as if you your idea and the finished product are one.

I obviously couldn't articulate it well enough so i simply took these three self portraits to portray these three stages.
