If you have ever visited Vietnam, it's likely that you are familiar with Đà Lạt, a tourism city in the country's central highlands, known for its temperate climate and great nature. But that is a story for another time. For now, let's get to our topic.
On our way from Đà Lạt to the nearby town Bảo Lộc in early 2019. we took a short break and paid a visit to a local spot of interest, Pongour Waterfall.
This part of Vietnam is filled with hills and rivers, so waterfalls are pretty common. That said, Pongour is one of the highest waterfalls in the area, and is still largely left untouched by tourism.
It was a clear afternoon, so we were able to capture the waterfall in its all glory.
Here is another part of Pongour. The sun was behind our back. You can see a dim rainbow there.
These two photos were taken from afar. You can see the surrounding area.
We were lucky that there were only a few visitors at that time, so we could take our time and capture nice photos of nature, void of humans' activities. It was a short visit and we haven't since returned, because of our life obligation. But surely, we will visit Pongour again for more thorough appreciation.
