And this is the final photo I want to show you from my Lake Baikal photo tour. It was captured on the last day when we arrived to the southern coast of Island Olkhon. For comparison with tiny Small Sea this part opened to the greater lake and weather conditions here are much harsher.
I was very happy to find a place with smooth ice and interesting cracks. I noticed that these cracks resembles the rugged shape of the mountain in background and used it to connect foreground and background in my photo. Enjoy!

That looks cold! How deep are the cracks?
@simplylizelle These cracks are not deep -2-3 centemeters
Just awesome photo
You captured it perfectly, the combination of the mountain and the icy lake was just too perfect.
Not excluding the sunlight that brightened it up. .👍
Nice shut
When the lake was in the liquid state, it mirrored the mountain in it. When it turned to ice, it echoed the cracks on the mountain. This image is simply marvelous. It would've been a delight, keeping aside the harsh weather conditions, to behold such a beauty. Keep clicking. By the way, I write. You can visit my page and upvote if you like any of my posts.
