[Baikal 2016] Isle Oltrek at Sunrise, Lake Baikal #2

Isle-Oltrek-at-Sunrise-Lake-Baikal-Russia2.jpg

Using lake ice as a highway you can reach many interesting places in Small Sea area in less than an hour. On the second morning we went to Isle Oltrek. Isle Oltrek is very small in size, but amusing in its shape - it looks like giant sphinx sitting on the ice.

Wow!😃😃😃really heart touching photography! !

I'm still in awe of the fact that you guys were icing skating the seas to travel to the small remote island.

After a few days u return Boss... Where are u last few days ? Just wait for your photos..

@angryboy Was a bit busy :)

Amazing this photography .....i like this traveling ..i wait your next post....all the best....

Your photos are excellent! I would like to see the fresh water seals at Baikal Lake sometime in my lifetime.

They have a different way to enjoy the scenery.
Great photo shoot.

Awesome photo bro

Absolutely insane!! ..great job sir

Frozen lake in photography.
nice view

Now come on the topic, the photography of Isle Oltrek at Sunrise is realy nice, specially its awesome shape @ansharphoto

Nice, nice, but it is already forth image with exactly same composition...
Please diversify a bit - show us Baikal in all its glory!

@blastik Well you don't have a lot of compositional elements to choose from in such place. Some ice formations for foreground and some rock formations for background. In general all looks alike, but also it differs in some small things. Baikal looks like alien place for me and I choose final photos to show (and to include in my portfolio) based on my own level of excitement with them :) First 4 photos show most famous isles and clean ice - next photos will show less popular isles and broken harsh ice - kind of Games of Thrones beyond the wall places :)

Yep, I can understand the challenge. I'm just spoiled by composition diversity from other locations you shared with us :)

@blastik I believe the rest of Baikal collection will be a bit more diversed. By the way - please tell me your opinion at the end - it is really much more useful to have such constructive critique rather than wow comments :)

And after Baikal I am going to postprocess Greenland - it will be much more diversed :)

Cool photography

So cool! ... literally ;-)

Cool and scary at the same time. Who knows when the ice will melt?

@gvincentjosephm Usually it starting to melt in the end of March. In our last day it was already too dangerous and driver refused to go by ice and chose much longer and jolting inland road

wow....♦ so beautiful photography....♦ i like your every post...@ansharphoto

эхх, надеюсь когда нибудь своими глазами его увидеть :)

Simply an amazing photo and i'm sure the experience was priceless. I'm still in awe of the fact that you guys were icing skating the seas to travel to the small remote island. Sounds like an awesome experience that makes one hell of a story to tell others. Thanks for this beautiful image.

#circleoffriends

@slickhustler007 Yes - I know people who do ice skating travel on Baikal ice and cover like 400 kilometres in 2 weeks on skates

sweeeet. Im sure its a rush like no other. Again thanks for sharing pal.

Wonderful pic. I think you click it by taking risk. Mountain reflection is looking too nice and the breakage of surface tell the how much risk you take to click the photo.

@kamesh It is quite safe there - the ice about 1 meter thick. Even cars are going there by ice.

I think you have wonderful experience. Dear i too have a lot of collection of pics can you suggest me where i can sell it? @ansharphoto

@kamesh Try www.shutterstock.com for example

shutterstock not give us genuine price. please check my blog and tell me is my photo leaves good impression? @ansharphoto. Please leave also comment for particular on pic

Wow, stunning photo! Using lake ice as a highway makes me a tad nervous but it was clearly worth it.

Omg, it's amazing!!!

I enjoy photography myself. Main focus is nature during my travels.

Really beautiful and crystal world, and the addon effect of this picture is the white layer which is formed at base level of that rock. Thanks for sharing this picture with us.

Stay Blessed.

how I wish to experience those crystal ice here in my county :'(
