Mobile Photography with Samsung Galaxy

in #photography6 years ago

There's a saying that goes "the best camera is the one you have with you" and over the last couple of years I've found it to ring true. With advances in lens tech and processor speeds it's now possible to take, edit and share professional quality shots using only your eyes and digits. Technology is finally catching up to our collective imagination. On this note, Samsung challenged me to produce a post using only a Galaxy S9 and as a ravenous explorer I jumped at the opportunity. Make sure to check out the second part of the article where I discuss the apps and skills needed to improve your mobile photography game.

Photography is so much more than taking a picture. You have to look at the technical aspects such as lighting and framing, asking yourself what you're trying to show with each image. Is it memorable? A good artist should always try to channel personal experiences and a bit of themselves into their work. Question your motivations. If you're going to spend a good amount of time on anything it should be enjoyable. Competence and practice brings new levels of enjoyments to all aspects of life, creativity is just one of them. This article is proof that everything you need to get started is already in your pocket.
