Vacation to West India - beauty of Darjeeling

I am going to share my experiences, which I had during my vacation to West Bengal last month.

I decided to enjoy a vacation of 30 days and decided to visit Darjeeling. I took a flight from Delhi to Bagdogra. Bagdogra is the nearest Airport for Darjeeling district. Once I reached there, I got to understand I won’t be able to enjoy my vacation too much.

The trip was planned around three months back when I purchased my tickets. Once I reached Bagdogra, I found its too rainy over there. In addition to this, the Gorkhas were on strike with the demand of separate Gorkhaland state. So, I had to reschedule my whole plan. Therefore, I decided to travel to countryside places so I could see the beauty of towns. Though it was not possible to capture all the beauty due to regular rains but I put all my efforts to capture as much as I can. Out of 25 days, there were only 10 productive days as rain was huge hindrance.

My first visit was to Bengal Safari, the place situated in Siliguri, where you can wild animals along with Botanical Gardens. I could not see much animals over here but beauty was worth it. I really enjoyed it a lot. The whole place had rich plants and dense trees. Find below some of the pictures that I shot over there and share your views on same.
