Bryce Canyon Utah with short Milky Way animated photo.

Here is another shot from Bryce canyon of the Milky Way without the light pollution from cars driving by. I captured quite a few shots from this location. I found enough to make a short time-lapse clip of the Milky Way to give you a feel for what its like to be in an extreme dark sky location during a new moon. Taking dark sky photo during a new moon lets you capture the stars even more since you have little reflection from the moon. The closer to a new moon you can get when capturing the Milky Way the more brilliant your photo will be.

Working with raw files gives you even more room to edit the details and bring out the colors for your final result. If you decide to do a time-lapse I recommend getting the largest sd card your camera can take in order to have enough room for multiple captures on a single card. Extra batteries and sd cards are also a must when doing long exposure captures for extended periods of time. I often use a camera grip in order to be able to use two batteries to extend the length of my time lapse captures. Warm clothing and a small pop up shelter and a fold-able chair can be nice if you plan an hour or longer capture.

The first two animations are faster with the final one being 2x slower so you can choose which one you like the most.

Thanks again for your support and helping me to keep doing what I love!

Thank you for posting @azfix.

Lovely work.....lovely photographs.

Both are beautiful......appreciated seeing ones without anyone and those with. The light on the ground is a nice surprise.

All the best.

Cheers.

Thanks @bleujay the light was from a small led light I had on my head that I used to light up the area in one of the exposures.

the last photo is really cool with that man shadow

Thanks, I wasn't sure if people would enjoy it or not.

What a good photo. A scene that sparked my imagination. A fantastic sight. Congratulations.

Glad it inspired you! Thanks for the comment and upvote its much appreciated.

Wonderful Milky Way and amazing animated photos! The flashes light looks great. Well done, as always! ;)

Thanks @tangmo in March and April I hope to have some time for even more.

You're welcome! That'll be really great! I look forward to seeing more photos from you with much interest! ;)

Your pictures are very wonderful, how to take beautiful like those photos?😊

Glad you like them, these are long exposure photos(up to 30 seconds) using a tripod and a wide angle lens. I usually set the ISO to 3200 or above depending on conditions. It mostly comes down to practicing quite a bit and knowing how light conditions play a role in the shot.

Thank you so much 😊

This looks damn perfect.....lovely work..these photos are completely diffrent from rest you uploaded yesterday...the exposure level is suiting the surrounding...the milkyway stars sit in there perfect....this are best photos i have come today so far......
The shadow of the person that lightning casts on the heap of rock looks outstanding...great edit man....

Thanks, luckily I did not have a car drive by for these shots so I was able to take the kind of shots I normally do. I mostly posted the photos with the light pollution to show that you can still get something out of a shot even when you think it might be ruined. The perfect shot is ideal, but I also think that sometimes its nice to compare.

No, you really have captured perfect shot out there...it really got my eye at first sight....nicely captured...

Wow!!
These photographs are brilliant..
These are the type of photographs that you keep as wallpaper for your desktop..

Animation number 1 for me. But if you could slow the frame rate down on it, I would find it more enjoyable.

Thanks for the suggestion, I may just do that when I share it on my fb photography page.

Very nice I'm looking forward to seeing the milky way core in the night sky again soon.

Were you just visiting or do you live near by?

It was a road trip to Zion and Bryce
