I’m going on this journey to become a citizen of Italy.
I recently found out that I am eligible to become an Italian citizen and it has been so exciting.
I have been traveling to state building to state building looking up documents of my relatives. Going through birth certificates, marriage certificates, and declarations of citizenship to the US.
I learned a lot about what my family had to do to get her, to give my parents a better way of life, and ultimately give me the life I have. I would be lying if I said I didn’t get emotional while going through the history of my family. It really puts things into perspective.I am so grateful.
