The people of Aceh have long known the traditional woven products made of dried pandanus leaves.
This pandanus mat has a potential business value. Production of woven pandanus mat is available with various motifs and sizes.
Pandanus mat craftsman is usually from among housewife mothers in the countryside.
Some of the housewives still pursue heritage craft that has been hereditary until now.
There are also some of their mothers sell pandan mats by going around the village, even to the city by foot. But this handicraft, production began to decrease.
