Why is everyone saying it looks old? It looks like a normal light switch. Are you guys from.some future place? How do you turn on your lights?
Totally amazing I don't know how you keep doing it, turning these simple items into works of art. It's almost breathtaking. I absolutely love the way the little flecks of paint are coming off the switches, it just gives it that little bit of "we painted the switches" rustic flair. The little scrape around the screw was a nice touch, subtle but just enough to draw the eye. You mix all of that with the absolute chaos of all the screws being turned to different positions, and it just gives it that yen and yang feel.
It's really great work and you should be proud of it.

Someone had a hell of an argument with both screws on the left there. Both stripped and will be a little tough to get out.

That really is old fashion, but nevertheless it would fit in our old farmhouse :D Better old fashion and good then new and broke. (That's what we have here).
