Excuse bad quality but i was not using my usual camera since i had to take pictures fast - just my very old mobile phone.
Also i was with my daughter so couldnt get too close.
Everybody stopped when it came out of blue.
She doesnt even see it!
And went back into water..
Anyone knows how this little crocodile is called ?!
King Rama IX Park is very nice and worth visiting just watch out for those predators :)
It's a monitor lizard! They have some in Lumpini park as well, but I've never seen one in person. Nice pics!
Oh ive seen it, everyone was scared :)
Haha check this article "Giant Monitor Lizards Are Out of Control in This Bangkok Park" http://time.com/4502364/lumpini-park-monitor-lizards/
Some are ten feet long? Wow! I do not care how "harmless" people say they are; if I see a ten foot long alligator- looking- thing I am running the other way.
It's just a monitor lizard! Harmless!!
Looked like a predator :)
We had many of thm in our garden.... No so scary :)
@bigdaddy that looks like a Malayan Water Monitor. They're very common throughout Southeast Asia. Here in Singapore, some are even F1 fans ;P

The only truly scary animals I see in the photos are a few humans. ;)

What is scary in There ? The Girl seems Normal
Monitors make good pets but it's best if they're left in the wild. Not what you expect to see coming out of the bushes. That must have been different.
