This is a photo I snapped a couple months ago of the "Sherpa Fire" near Santa Barbara, California, USA. I took the picture with my Droid Turbo phone from Coal Oil point in Goleta. I don't know a ton about fire meteorology, but it looks to me that there's a "smoke tornado" over on the left of the frame. This was about 20 miles from my house, and bits of ash were falling all over the place when I took the photo. Scary!
Sad..but beautiful picture!

That's crazy! Fires on an oceanside, doesn't make much sense.
