RE: Today's Timeless Truth.....

in #photographylast month

Greetings @peaceandmoney ,

Happy to hear you appreciated the photograph of the close-up of the leaves and clover.....thank you!

C.S.Lewis had a lovely legacy of writings and I want to say some address what you have described here....if I come across something applicable I will add it here. For Bleujay....the policy...'I am aware but not distracted'....Adversity is inevitable , Stress is optional.

Was it the Series 'Detective Morris'? The series with the Detective who would come home from work and listen to classical music whilst he thought things through sitting in a comfortable chair. Or how about the Pirot Series...with his grey cells...and objective ways.

Accept that bad things happen...As one reporter said after he was in the presence of a very evil ruler...Once I saw that Evil Exists then I knew there was Good....Simon Black.

This Principle I hope assists in changing our perspective from negative to positive.

Kind Regards,

Bleujay

I'm so pleased to see you mentioned C.S Lewis - what an awe inspiring man and author.

Adversity is inevitable, Stress is optional. Now that is something I could buy into, if I knew how! I have not heard of Detective Morris but a man who finishes the working day by sitting in an armchair listening to classical music is a man who appreciates the finer things in life.

Pirot series? Perhaps you mean Poirot here - the famous Belgian detective created by Agatha Christie. He was another refined, intelligent gentleman, we are in desperate need of more people like that in this world.

Yes you have to accept the acceptance of the uglier things in life, I quite agree. I guess in that acceptance is a freedom. I really appreciate the words of Simon Black, I will have to do some research on him as I've never heard of that man, thanks for bringing him to my attention @bleujay.

Thank you also for that wonderful comment, it does indeed help me to contextualise things, particularly assisting in the skill of positive thinking over negative thinking.

My pleasure @peaceandmoney?

Thank you for the correct spelling of Agatha Christie's Detective Poirot....yes...such a gentleman. ^__^

You replied....'if only I knew how'.....through timeless truths including Biblical truths.

Truth marches on with or without us.

Evil marches on with or without us.

C.S. Lewis once said in an interview....I only see two kinds of men....saved or unsaved...interesting.

Kind Regards, Bleujay
