The view from my office

in #photography7 years ago

It's funny, sometimes when I visit other people who have great views from their office, I think how lucky they are, but my view isn't that bad either. I mean, a lot of people don't have any view at all.

Working 9-5 felt to me like being in a human zoo, my view was absolutely worse when I worked 9-5. I only saw factories, it made me insane.

Hanging out for the weekend, right?

Exactly, it is like you throw the other 5 days of the week away.

What are you implying?

That such people waste monday to friday & live on the weekend.

No view currently, no window, but this is the best desk I have had in my career of 21 years. I sat in a bank vault converted into a server data center for about 5 years. No mobile phones allowed inside, and we had to crack the bank vault door every morning, lock it every night. There were also iron plates welded over all the windows! You are right tho, I have always been happy to just have a job!

My old man used to cut diamonds and they were in a similar environment. No natural light, searched on the way in and searched on the way out.

Haha I'm jealous! The view of my office is pretty nice, but looking outside of it isn't all that great.

It's all relative right. There have been times when I would have given anything just for a job...
