Treasure hunters found this bronze cross in the North Caucasus. The cross was made in the 8th-9th centuries in Byzantium and belonged to an Orthodox monk. Such a cross inside contains the relics of saints, therefore it has a special religious significance. These crosses are called encolpions and they are very expensive, the cross which in the photo costs about 1000 dollars.
