Hi! This is my third entry for the first B&W PHOTO CONTEST on Steemit.

I took this shot in January. It was a nice sunny day.

Black and white photography is my absolute favorite. Love this one! I can hear just how quiet it was at this location, if that makes sense :) keep up the great photos!

Thank you! When I got to this place, I was surprised. I immediately remembered one photo with shadows in the forest. And I decided to try to make a similar photo. I'm glad if you liked it 8)

You bet, I checked out your other submissions too, the snowy church photo is soooo good, great work!

Thank you very much! 8)

The shadows look really cool in this one!

Thank you! Once I saw a similar photo. And when I was working on my photo I tried to make the shadows more expressive. I'm glad if it worked out well 8)

Great shot!
I find shots of the snow and forest in black & white the best.
Thanks for sharing and steem on :)

Thank you! Glad to hear that! 8)
Steem on!

Great shot! I like how the trees get smaller into the background but there is still good definition with the bits of sky you can see between them.

Thank you, @mweich! I appreciate your praise. 8)

Amazing shot!! :) Well done!

Thank you! 8)

Oh, that's an outstanding photo! How do you like your Nikon?

Thank you! I'm not a professional and just learning my camera. Over time, I begin to realize that I lack some of the options that are available in more expensive cameras. But I like it 8)

Right on. I just grab a few pictures on my iPhone here and there. I'd like to get a nice camera. Nice detail in your photo.

Well I think you should know that it's not only cameras merit. If you want good photos you should have a dslr camera. But if you want good photos, you should use a postprocessing. Basically I'm using a Lightroom for it. And now I started to use a Photoshop.

It shows you put a little extra care in. I'm sure you put the best camera in the hands of someone who doesn't have the eye or artistic touch it wouldn't help. Some of the new 30 mp. Would help, but a nice picture of a turd is still a turd
