I took this picture on the Palace embankment of the Neva River near the Summer Garden in the city of St. Petersburg (Russia).
On the right is the famous grid of the Summer Garden, in which Russian emperors spent their time in the summer.
On the left is a bridge across the Fontanka River, which at this point flows into the Neva River.
Automobile traffic on this embankment is quite active. While walking along this embankment, I decided to take a photo with a long exposure to get a photo with traces of car headlights.
Cars moving across the bridge made headlight tracks even more interesting than it usually is.
I liked the result. And you?

Yes, I do like this result. I've always liked long exposure and headlights. Almost futuristic. But I guess the future is now :) Nice shot

I liked them from the first time too. I wasn't sure that I can do them, but looks like some easy advices from my friends allows to do them with normal quality.
And the main advices are - to use a minimal ISO to reduce the noise, and use a f/8-f/9 aperture to have a sharp picture.
