I have been flying drones for over 6 years now and have personally owned everything from the first DJI phantoms to heavy lift octocopters and now own the Inspire 1 pro and the Phantom 4 pro made by DJI.
I have to say after all of the drones I have owned and operated my favorite drone right now for still photography is the DJI phantom 4 Pro.
The phantom 4 pro has a 1 inch, 20 mega pixel sensor and allows you to shoot raw DNG files that have a great amount of dynamic range for such a small package.
The other thing I love about the phantom 4 pro is it’s form factor. It’s small enough to fit in a camera bag with my other DSLR camera so I can go hiking and get to places that would be a pain if I were to hike my inspire 1 case out there.
Here are some images I have captured lately with my DJI Phantom 4 Pro and Polar Pro Filters.
I've really been into drones for a while now too. I even have a company back home in Jamaica that is solely focused on drone applications. As a photographer I definitely get why you would choose the phantom 4 pro. Its small and still very versatile. For me personally the inspire 2 is my favorite, but thats also because I generally don't also have a dslr and other equipment on me
