Sunset in my little bay, Fossvogur, Iceland

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

Although it's a cloudy day, sometimes when the sun sets she goes down under the clouds and illuminates them from below in yellow and red colors on her way below the horizon. I find this one of the most beautiful sunsets in my little bay. Cloudy sky so I don't see the sun all day, but I get my sunset :)

FOLOWED so I can see yout upcoming photos.

Please also comment on my photos @csmit as I can do with some comments to take better photos.

Thank you, like your photos. I believe South Africa is a great place for photographing :)

Yes, South Africa is really a beautiful country, whether on the coastline or in-land.

A friend of mine lived there for some time and loved it. I would like someday to go there with my camera. But it's a long way, half around the globe from Iceland and I don't like long flights. So maybe with few stops on the way, I will one day.

beautiful. upvoted.

Thank you!!

You did a good thing you let the Sun stay hidden @bragih. This way colors are most saturated. Please provide some info on your equipment and exposure data. Upvoted, resteemed, followed & DPS.

Please state clearly how would you like to be featured in the “Daily Photo Selection”: with a linked photo, or with link only without a photo. We are making a list of photographers who are ready to improve the visibility of their work through the DPS. Thank you.

Well, there is a problem. What camera and lens I use is no problem, the problem is that I love the unexpected, so I shot just anyhow and a lot of photos. Ther for all auto if I'm in that mood. Then most of my photos are 'heavy' edited, that is really my field cos I'm a designer, not learned photographer. So usually I don't know myself exposure data for instance. But if it helps, my camera is Canon EOS 400D, that have fallen to the ground so often that it doesn't obey my sometime :) And mostly I just use standard Canon 18-55mm lens. But I also take macro photos, but just the 'cheap' way, using extension tube set.

About the DPS, I just don't know too much about it to make a decision. What is the most used way? I would just use that I think.

To understand the way I like most to work (because in my mind a photo is just a 'material' to work with, I have posted few photos under the tag #photomanipulation, you can see there wat is my man field. For instance this photo/work:

Of course it helps, at least to know it's your original artwork. Please put those info in your posts.

See the latest Daily Photo Selection and decide: would you rather have only a link like it is now, or a linked photo, like others have?

OK, got it. Linked photo. All my post are original artwork and I will in the future put more info about camera end other technical info. Thanks for including my photo, it's a great honor.

Thank you @bragih. Your photo and photo of @tecnosgirl were added to the DPS from 4th of July.

Thanks!
