I am trying to get all the things I need in place before we leave for snow. I already showed the camera and the lensball before in a blog and I wanted a light ring and little tripod aswell.
A selfie light is a round light fixture that you can either set up in front of yourself or attach to your smartphone. I have the telephone version. Those you set up in front yourself are usually on a standard ring lights, and to big.
When so many social media influencers are using a phone selfie ring light I can try aswell. It is supposed to give a beautiful, flattering and professional lighting setup for both images and video shot on a phone camera. Worth a try !I guess the bar is being raised constantly in online picture quality. I like it!
In social media It’s not enough these days to simply use natural light or your phone camera flash to create images that are both eye-catching and professional-looking – you need to follow the lead of the social media influencers and start using a phone selfie ring light, and that is what I am doing now just for fun, I did t buy the expensive ones don’t worry.
For those of you who aren’t aware, it is a circular LED light that fits around your phone’s camera lens. It’s a bit bigger so the light falls around the lens. It gives you beautifully, evenly lit images on your mobile phone without any harsh shadows or dark areas, which have been a problem with built-in mobile phone camera flashes on some phones.
You can use the ring light to help you apply makeup in poor light conditions, and also for creating that flawless beauty shots afterwards. Ring lights also give your subjects lovely circular catchlights in their eyes (the reflection of the light in the iris of the eyes) also using a ring light for food photography which gives the recipes an even glow. It will be the perfect art shot of a great meal. You can even take the ring light out and about, as it’s small enough to fit in a handbag or pocket, and simply clips onto your phone when you need it. That’s what I need for my trip. I also read that eye photos come out more beautiful. And flat photos on the table are more nice, ohhhh I have got to try out so much using the tripod and phone selfie ring light for blogging.
The ring light has taken the world of social media content production by storm, and the phone selfie ring light has brought the power of the ring light within reach of everyone.
It may seem dramatic to claim that ring lights can transform my images, and of course, they won’t but it won’t make a bad photo good, but the truth is that these lights really do lift a well-composed image to the next level. Why not try one out and see for myself?
Then the tripod also by GRUNDIG. A little one to make the TIK TOK VIDEOS with @colpowercoll. Tripods keep your camera or smartphone still while you're taking photos or videos. In the case of iPhone tripods, they're often designed to be able to stand on hard surfaces or attach onto objects so that you can set them up at the desired height and angle.
About 2 years ago I’ve written about the ‘best’ time to submit a blogpost so you’ll receive worldwide exposure. I came up with the term 4 o'clocky and I thought this might be a great idea to make a blogpost every day at 4 o'clock local time with this title. Every day I’ll submit a blogpost about something that keeps me busy, a challange, a contest or something important enough to share so Lets blog on and See you every day here at 4 !

4 o'clocky, I have always wondered when is the best time to blog. Unfortunately I can never stick to a schedule when it comes to the Internet. I get easily distracted and totally forget uploading a blog I wish to share.
That selfie ring could work well, wasted on my phone, subject needs to be at least a tad good looking before use ;-)
