Today on route I saw this lovely couple of swans.
She on her nest, he defending her from me and my camera.
The clouds, shadows and the green scenery made this a beautiful white feathered Friday I think. She was behind the fence of an empty meadow where our neighbours had done cows before.
I love the fact that swans stay together for life. That’s what I intend to do too.

We have swans in our town too. During the long winter, they are housed in a heated barn if you can manage that.
Just last week, they had the March from the barn down to the water which is a big event with lots of fun stuff.
Those things are mean when you get too close with a camera!

Yes, they are used to the swans but when with nest they become evil. They are making noise when i am not even close, but i set them Free in the field to run and i approched father and then saw mum but i took the risk and than sat for a while just watching them together they are so white and elegant.
KLM uses swans for their adds for their grave and strenght i think thats super cool

KLM-- I once sat next to a KLM representative on a plane flight home from Europe and he gave me a KLM hat and some pens that said KLM! I always think of him when I hear KLM!
Our national pride! And they have the swan as their symbool for ever. I play with two stewardesses from KLM on my team and its a great employee too
That looks like a comfortable nest she has. I've seen a few wild geese here, but mostly we have cranes and ducks in the rivers.
Here in every little water is a pair, maybe we have to many i dont know

We have swans here, although I didn't see them yet this spring, which is unusual. I love how they stay together forever. That is so romantic when a species in the animal planet keep faithful to the partner.

Those are some beautiful swans. I think it's great as well that they stay together for life. Sounds like an adventure to me :)

Some very nice scenery. The swan really does stand out in her nest with all the green, and the Guy Swimming looks great surrounded by the blue then the green, Very nice pictures.
