That report graffiti sign is hilarious. I should show that to my students. As part of grade 8 art I always teach a unit on graffiti. We learn about the history of graffiti, look at historical examples and modern works and of course we produce our own works of graffiti. The best part of the unit is the intense debate that we have about the legality of graffiti. The students have to take all they have learned and then decide whether they think graffiti is art or vandalism. They very often end up riding the fence on this one but the discussion is fantastic. I really like the glass triangles and the colourful octopus thing as well. Where in Edmonton is this?
