White Crab Spider
Crab Spiders are very interesting, they have the capability of changing from white to yellow and back again, I found a Golden Rod Crab Spider a few weeks ago, it has two golden rod stripes on its behind that you do not see on this one.
It is said that pollinators are more attracted to flowers with other insects on them, like crab spiders, because ultraviolet markings on flowers that initially attract a bee to a flower look similar to that found on insects.
They hide very well, I was taking a photo of a bee when I realized there was this white crab spider camouflaged right in the Globe Thistle. A sneaky sneaky spider, always surprising me!
Crab Spiders are not poisonous, they generally do not bite unless they are in danger and feel it is necessary for protection.

Great shot @cainplant. Following you now 😀
thanks @ninjace
They are great in camouflaging! I think that all of my crab spider photos were taken by accident when I was just shooting a flower or some insect on it.
I looks like it has eyes all around that yellow part on it's head :D
So true! I look through the hundreds of flowers photos, and then see them hidden in the flowers!! Excellent creatures!
Its like his eyes have a yellow mask :P
Yellow Zorro :p
interesting crab, I never imagined a crab like that!! :-)
Oh wow. This photo is perfection. By the way, have you seen Papa Pepper's combo photo contest? It might appeal to you. You can't use portfolio--must have proof of new shot. But you might enjoy looking into it if you haven't. I had great fun last week although I'm not of the quality you are and the winners were.
