My background on using Analog camera

I've been shooting film using 120 and 135 films since 2010. It was just something that my friend brought up 8 years ago. Tried shooting film and I must say that I fell in love with it. Started shooting film using my Holga 120cfn and later on using my La Sardina.

I can't say that I'm a full on photographer because mainly i'm just using those camera for fun and for some experimentation using stuff that are not usually available on normal analog camera. For example both my holga and my la sardina have color flash so I can experiment with colorflash. I also love playing with multiple exposure.

When did I fall in love with Instant Photography

Back in college, I asked my aunt from Canada to buy me an Instax Wide 210 which uses the instax wide film. I took random picture with that and I instantly loved how I immediately get the results from what I just shot. I get that feeling of anticipation and getting excited on what would be the result of the shot which I got from shooting 120 and 135 films but unlike them I immediately get the result of the shot which gives me more idea on what the next shot should be if I get any errors.

Using my Lomo'Instant Automat Glass(LIAG) by Lomography

I got my very own LIAG last November 2017 and have been playing with it ever since. I fell in love with this camera instantly, though it has a smaller format that the instax wide 210, even before I got it because I learned that I can do awesome tricks with it, just like I used to do when I was shooting film(e.g. Mulitple Exposure, Bulb, Colorflash, etc). But using this camera was not an easy task at first, there really is a big learning curve when using this camera. I'll be creating another blog concentrating more on the tips and tricks on using this camera. Here are sample shots from shooting my very own LIAG.

THE CHALLENGE

I wanted to change one of by baddest traits this year 2018 which was not finishing what I started just because I got lazy. I challenged myself to take at least one photo each using my LIAG for 100 days starting January 1, 2018. I've taken 30+ photos this year and I can say that I am yet to fail on this Challenge. I will be uploading the picture here in steemit per day. It will be late by 30 days but I promise to upload per day nevertheless. Please do support me on my journey, I know this would be hard but I know I have the resolve to finish this challenge.
