After while I have been in the Liberec Botanical garden. It has been about five years since I was there the last time. Not much has really change, but at the same time it almost seems as if everything is brand new. Beautiful blossoms and gorgeous animals in the see world. Even though there aren’t many of animals since this is still a Botanical garden. So we will focus more on the flowers.
The first thing we will get to see, well … apart from the outdoor flowers, is a giant greenhouse where you can find all the flowers that you can remember, but mainly the exotic ones. This is the so called tropical display. First we can see an amazing looking bonsai – I would love to have one of these at home, but I probably wouldn’t enjoy taking care of it. But people who love bonsais will surely like it :)
Otherwise we can find many lilies and waterlilies here.
If we go a floor higher we can find many carnivorous flowers and cactie. Sadly I didn’t take many pictures of cactie, because I visited the Botanical garden during a heatwave. And you can imagine how hot it was on the top of the greenhouse, specially considering these plans still require heating!!! Normally I like warm weather, but this was too much even for me. :D
Now a little look into the see world. I liked a rays and the Percula Claunfish the best. The Claunfish is Nemo! BTW: Thanks to finding Nemo, the Claunfish are a protected species.
I also so a beautiful small shark.
And the last of the animals was a crocodile and a few turtles.
And now my personal favourite place - Rose beds. Roses are one of the most common flowers to give to a women. And it’s also one of the flowers a women will like to get the best.
I do understand why it is so, as I love them too, but they wither really fast. My favourite type of roses are red roses, but I won’t complain about getting a common yellow or white roses either.
