The capital city of Switzerland, known for its medieval architecture is a must-visit when you are in the country. Why so?
1 - The Aare river and the buildings around it create a relaxing atmosphere, one which makes you reluctant to keep walking.
!
2 - The bears in the pit are the most popular tourist attraction and the city's symbol, admired by young and old. And if you are lucky you can get to see them take a dip in their pool!
3 - The quaint streets and the shops from the bear pit to the Cathedral provide a nice stroll, with plenty of colour and arches!
4 - For a country known for clockwork and punctuality, you must visit the Zyglogge clock and admire its artwork!
5 - The cathedral of Bern dominates the city's skyline and a visit inside is mandatory to admire the everlong columns!
6 - Visiting the rose garden is a steep walk, but a very fulfilling one. In my case, since I visited in October, it was not in full splendour, but the view from this place is worth the climb!
So next time, you're in the area, pop in and make wonderful memories from this amazing place! If I missed something, don't hesitate to add it in the comments!
