Kenneth and Gloria's wedding

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

Ah, the buildup to this wedding has been quite exciting! It has been really amazing to see these two go from friends, to courting and finally to marriage. I still remember the day Kenneth told me he was eyeing out Gloria. Think I still said something along the lines of "Man, now that's a quality girl right there!! Wow! Now you're thinking straight!" And the rest is history ;)

As you may know, I'm a big fan of shooting into the light. Kenneth and Gloria had a mid-morning ceremony which meant shooting bridal photos at midday. Well, there went my backlighting and lens flair. I must admit - as mentioned in my previous post - we tend to get into a rut of what we like. This, once again, allowed me push myself into uncharted waters to see what happens...

This was also the second wedding I've been privileged to attend where Pastor Dave was preaching. So great to see how the Lord has not only gifted him behind a pulpit but also at conducting wedding ceremonies.

Congrats Kenneth, Gloria and Upendo! I pray that the Lord guides your amazing family and that you glorify Him every day and show the world how God works through each of you and uses you in whatever way He pleases.
