I can walk in a nursery filled with tons of the most exquisite flowers but somehow the Orchids always seems to draw my attention and I can stand for hours looking at them, mesmerised by their unique beauty.
Admiring all the different species on this day's findings, a desire to start my own collection of the very interesting and rare ones come to me very strongly. They do cost a pretty penny in my country so I decided to buy a cheap one first and then go study up on them and see if I can get one to survive a few months before purchasing the rest.
This is my baby I picked to start off with. The four on these photos will be part of my next purchase. The white one is not as unique as the others but I absolutely adore the ruffling and shape of its petals.
All photos were taken with my Samsung A4 2017.

The photos are very beautiful - but the image appended in your post, the one with the poem, does not merit being here. It simply is not as soft, gentle or natural as the ones you took yourself. Edit the post and just add the poem as a text. It would be much more graceful.

Really beautiful flowers, I agree. I particularly love the way you styled the photo of your first one. Daffodils are my very favorite, for sentimental reasons, and roses are next, but orchids are definitely high on my list. Where do you live?
