A balloon can be a good cheap way to keep a lid on and let out the gas if you use a jug instead. I'm still not sure if these are chilis or tomatoes im looking at? I cant really imagine drinking either one but I would be interested to hear about it if you can get it to work right. Try unpasturized apple juice, you can mike a really nice cider with that.

I thought about cider before i will try at some point. In thess jars are blueberries and raspberries
