Born again as we know is not just turning into new leaf or desisting from your old act. It is deeper than that. The term born again is completely new life.
Let's look at something in Romans 6:6. The bible says “Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.” Someone will ask if we have receive new nature and we are new creature where then is the old man? Yes, as God's word says, none is righteousness, no not one. All have turned away and sinned. We can only be made new by Him—that is Jesus Christ. He is the one who sends us our Helper, that is the Holy Spirit.
