Anyone who's traveled in the Midwest in the middle of summer knows how sweltering hot it can get. And it's not necessarily because of the temperature.
The Midwest enjoys (ha - operative word here!) lots of humidity in the air. And that means stifling heat as your skin thinks it can't cool itself efficiently.
The upside is that my skin loves this climate! It means moist skin almost all the time.
As someone who grew up in humid weather, it's no wonder my skin feels like it's back home again!
