who does not know this water bird that has a beak similar to a crane.
this one bird is often called the koak sawah bird but this koak bird is different from the night koak bird which has bigger body and different color if the koak night has gray color and have black line in wing and have big voice , koak also has a unique nickname that is a thief bird because this bird often disturb or steal the results of fish or shrimp from pond farmers or ponds whereas koak sawah only looking for food in rice fields and birds this one rarely found in fish cultivation and shrimp farmers.
food from koak sawah can be small fish that live in rice fields and water frogs and there are also eating small insects like grasshoppers.
active habits of this wetland bird can be found during the day because this bird is not the same as the nightly koak birds who like active at night and at the coming period of marriage this bird can incubate two to three eggs and the nest of this bird is usually made in over tall grasses and on twigs of small trees whereas night kiwws often make sarngnya on large tree branches such as mangrove trees.
and the presence of these birds in many meet in southeast asia and africa and there is also in australia.
